![]() Yes the movie was good, but it could have been done just as well if they had followed the story in the book. I can understand why things may be changed a little, but to almost totally change the story is a bit much. Liked the book even if it did start slowly. But, he knew next to nothing about greek mythology and had no interest in it to begin with. I made my husband go with me and he didn’t like it at all (but then he doesn’t like to go to the theater). Plus, in the book they are suppose to be in the 8th grade. I really liked the actress who played Annabeth, but she’s blonde in the book. He’s been in every book and considering the goal is to bring him back to life, seems like a big part of the story to leave out. Kronos though – I’m not sure how they are going to do that. But, so far he’s not mentioned much in the rest of the series (I just finished book 3). I really disliked that they left out Ares completely. I thought the camp was a little hokey though.
